Well, I'm not a gynecologist, but I had three children who came in all other pregnancies, and our last event, there was a debate between my OB and the staff of the NICU gestational age.
My gynecologist said it was 36 weeks, said the staff of the NICU, he was 38 weeks.
Once the baby is born looking at certain characteristics of the integrity (of the skin, lung maturity, etc.) to get the baby a proper * * weeks of gestation. It is crossed generally the same as that of gynecology and obstetrics, but in cases like mine where we were not sure * that if they became pregnant, the age of birth to correct some more.
